I got my start in law school as a law clerk for the public defender and as a student attorney for the Institute to Transform Child Protection.

I graduated magna cum laude from law school, was a joint recipient of the alumni award, was one of two recipients of the CLEA award as the top clinic student, and received recognition from the Minnesota Justice Foundation for public service.

I conducted my first trial and appellate argument in law school. In the past five years of practice I have done more than 40 trials including family law, emergency protective care, child in need of protection and services, and termination of parental rights trials. 

There's nothing I take more pride in than finishing a trial and winning for my client, whether that's seeing a child come home, seeing someone retain custody of their child, or seeing someone who harmed my client's child face consequences.
